Ti amo <3

10 Days in Italy...

Arriving in Pisa.

Leonardo's beautiful 15th century
terrace house in the centre of Florence,
where he kindly let us bunk =)

His parents are both professors at the
university just outside of town, the
entire house is adorned with antique
books on great playwrights such as
shakespeare and english, italian and
american literature such as H.G Wells
and Ernest Hemmingway.

His father cut this out of the roof
purposely in order to frame the
monument within the structure,
and where leonardo consequently
spent his days smoking maryjanes
on the rooftop during his college days.

Best table in the most amazing Italian
restaurant by the river overlooking
Ponte Vecchio (the famous old bridge)
thanks to Camilla =)

Only the best truffles in town!
This shop has been around since
probably the late 1800s...

Disposable art in the centre of fine art.

Inside Cattedrale Santa Maria del Fiore...

Giotto's Bell Tower c1300s...
Yes he was an architect too...
complimenting painting
and architecture.

The first dome construction ever
built by architect Fillipo Brunelleschi,
that changed the face of the
Rennaisance period.

Began in 1568, the ceiling was painted by
Giorgio Vasari and Frederico Zuccari depicting
The Last Judgement as commissioned of course
by the Medici family.
